February 6, Jennifer White, the new National Director of the Beauties
of America Pageant, will be our special guest on the PageantCast.Jennifer White recently acquired the Beauties of America Pageant, and will serve as National Director. Jennifer was the 2004 Beauties of America’s 30s and Overall Photogenic winner. No stranger to pageants, Jennifer brings 25 years of experience in the pageant industry to the Beauties of America organization. Her vision is to see the Beauties of America pageant become the premiere and preferred pageant of its kind in the pageant world. A former Miss Michigan USA (1997), Jennifer feels her vast experience in pageantry will allow her to introduce Beauties of America to a whole new generation of competitors. “The Beauties of America Pageant is a wonderful experience for both the seasoned competitor, and those new to the pageant arena,� says Jennifer. “I am looking forward to serving as the National Director, and continuing to provide an outstanding pageant experience to the women who participate in Beauties of America.� Jennifer holds a Master's Degree in Administration from Central Michigan University, and is an honors graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Political Science. The Beauties of America Pageant began nearly 22 years ago with the purpose of celebrating beauty and achievement at every age. The Beauties of America Pageant philosophy has always been that women are fabulous and unique at every age, and pageants should reflect that. Through the years, the Beauties of America Pageant has been fortunate to see many beautiful and accomplished women go on to achieve their goals and dreams throughout the years. The jackpot starts at $10,000 and grows by $1,000 each time it's not won. The new season will also feature a series of episodes in which the champions of GSN's online game face off against the best players from previous television episodes. Host Woolery is known by audiences worldwide for such popular classics as "Love Connection" and "Greed," both of which air on GSN, in addition to "Scrabble" and the first seven years of "Wheel of Fortune." Co-host Shandi Finnessey (Miss USA 2004), originally from St. Louis, has a degree in psychology and has written a children's book, The Furrtails, as part of her goal to integrate developmentally challenged children into regular classrooms. The special, hosted by Mark L. Walberg ("Temptation Island," and "Russian Roulette") and Danielle Demski (Miss Arizona 2004 and Miss USA Finalist), is slated to air Monday, April 17 and Monday, April 24 from 9:00 to 10:00 PM ET/PT, and is being produced by LMNO Productions and Shuffle Master subsidiary Shuffle Up Productions.
